This section also contains several photographs of President Harry S. Truman attending 4-H functions.
1958 - This section contains images from the Extension Services of various departments in the College of Agriculture. The departments with collections of images in this folder include Administration, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Economics, and Animal Husbandry. The Administration photographs include images of visiting foreign delegations from Russia and India. The Agricultural Engineering photographs include images of agricultural facilities and irrigation and drainage systems developed and/or constructed by the department's extension services. The Agricultural Economics photographs include copies of charts and graphs detailing agricultural trends in the state, as well as images of speakers at various agricultural economics forums. The Horticulture, Poultry, and Soils photographs include images of experimental techniques in plant production, poultry production, and methods of soil testing, respectively, and all three groups also contain images of exhibitions and demonstrations. The Safety photographs include reproductions of "Safety Sam" posters about rural driving, and images taken at statewide safety conferences and fire-fighting drills. The Nutrition photographs include images of new canning techniques and storage facilities (walk-in freezers and refrigerators). The miscellaneous photographs focus mainly on award winners in various fields of research, agricultural production, or administration. The miscellaneous photographs also include facilities dedications and conferences throughout the state.
1959 - This section contains images from the Extension Services of various departments in the College of Agriculture, as well as the Missouri chapter of the 4-H Club. The departments with collections in this folder include Balanced Farming, Clothing, Dairy Husbandry, Entomology, Field Crops, and Forestry. The Balanced Farming photographs include images of families from across the state involved in the department's Balanced Farming program. The Clothing photographs include images of county sewing clubs. The Dairy Husbandry photographs contain many images of dairy cattle, as well as some images of new milking technology, and individuals awarded prizes from the extension service of the department. The Field Crops photographs depict state-of-the-art methods of harvesting and irrigation, while the Forestry photographs include images of logging procedures and chipping mills in Missouri. The 4-H photographs include images of contests, chapter meetings, livestock and produce shows, field trips, and even radio broadcasts sponsored by the 4-H Club chapter of Missouri.

This section also contains a variety of photographs labeled "miscellaneous". The Home Economics photographs include images of the Missouri Home Economics Extension Club meetings, as well as images of members and officers in county chapters of the home economics club. The Home Management photographs include images focusing on the interior design and maintenance of a home, such as furniture choice and repair, paint color choice and application, appliances, food storage, and even landscaping. The Horticulture photographs include images of prize-winning flowers and state conferences on floral production. The Poultry photographs include images of vast chicken farms and machinery for efficient poultry production. The Safety photographs include reproductions of charts and images of tractor tipping drills. The Soil photographs include various images of experiments in wheat production based on phosphate levels in the soil, as well as reproduced charts on proper phosphate use.

The Agricultural Economics photographs include several reproduced charts in addition to images of workshops and meetings from around the state. The Agricultural Engineering photographs include images of agricultural facilities and equipment designed and/or constructed under the auspices of the department's extension services. The Animal Husbandry photographs include images of livestock and facilities.

The Administration photographs contain images of Dean Elmer Kiehl, who began his tenure in 1960. The Agricultural Economics photographs include images of a conference on cooperatives, and reproduced charts depicting the state's agricultural expenditures. The Agricultural Engineering photographs include images of structures, equipment, and facilities built and/or designed by extension service programs, in addition to reproduced blueprints of agricultural structures. The Animal Husbandry photographs include images of prize-winning livestock and various demonstrations on maintenance of livestock health and efficiency.

The Balanced Farming photographs include images of winning families in the Balanced Farming program. The Dairy Husbandry photographs also include images of prizewinners and scholarship recipients. The Home Economics photographs contain images from meetings of the Missouri Home Economics Council, including individual members and elected officers. There are also many images relating to State Club Week, and the political rallies organized there by the Missouri Home Economics Council.

In this folder there are also a number of photographs labeled "miscellaneous", ranging from airplane flights from Columbia to Cape Girardeau, to reproduced advertisements for extension service programs, to landscape scenery from a variety of Missouri locales. The Marketing photographs contain images focusing on cotton production and marketing of cotton gins. The Poultry photographs include images of Turkey Show award winners, modern chicken incubators, and banquets held by the Poultry Department (serving chicken, of course). The Soils photographs include images of experimental fertilization and a limestone fertilizer plant in northern Missouri.
1961 - This section contains images from the Extension Services of various departments in the College of Agriculture including Administration, Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Engineering, Animal Husbandry, Child Development, Clothing, Dairy Husbandry, and Entomology, as well as images of the 4-H Club chapter of Missouri. The Administration photographs include images of the dedication of the Delta Research Center. The Agricultural Chemistry photographs include images of the newly built agricultural chemistry lab. The Agricultural Engineering photographs include images of model fallout shelters, storage silos, and cabinets for safely storing caustic chemicals. The Animal Husbandry photographs include images of livestock, award winners, and exhibitions. The Child Development photographs include images of reading and feeding experiments in the child development lab. In this section there are also a number of photographs labeled "miscellaneous", depicting a wide variety of subject matter from images of College of Agriculture banquets, to images of former professors and members of the Vocational Farming Club, as well as many images from the "These Are Our Children" campus photograph display. The Home Economics and Home Management photographs include images of members and officers of the Missouri Home Economics Extension Club Council in addition to images of kitchen remodeling, light bulb efficiency experiments, and displays on "The Expanding Family". The Horticulture photographs include images of floral displays, tomato acidity experiments, and members of the Missouri State Nurserymen's Association. The Poultry photographs include images of egg drying and packing techniques used throughout the state, winners of "Turkey Day" contests, and several other images of the state-wide Turkey Show. The Rural Development photographs include images of several members of the State Rural Areas Development Committee presenting preliminary reports from the "Overall Economic Development Program" to Dean Elmer Keihl and several county representatives.
1962 - This section contains images from the Extension Services of various departments in the College of Agriculture including Agricultural Engineering, Animal Husbandry, and Balanced Farming. The Agricultural Engineering photographs include images of a variety of agricultural buildings including grain silos, feed barns, machine sheds, and levees. The Animal Husbandry photographs include images of prize-winning pigs, cows, horses, and sheep, as well as images of the care and maintenance of animal health by farmers throughout the state. The Balanced Farming photographs depict satisfied participants in the program, as well as their award-winning sustainable farms and farming techniques.

1962 - This section contains images from the Extension Services of various departments in the College of Agriculture including Dairy Husbandry, homesteading, Field Crops, and Food and Nutrition, in addition to images of the 4-H Club chapter of Missouri. The Dairy Husbandry photographs include images of feed storage facilities, advanced milking machines, valuable and/or award-winning livestock, and conference displays of the latest in dairy technology. The Farmsteading photographs include images of farms that, presumably, have been aided and/or created through the College of Agriculture's Department of Farmsteading Extension Services. The Field Crops photographs include images of cotton, corn, barely, alfalfa and soybean fields, as well as displays of new techniques in fertilization, storage, and harvesting. The Food and Nutrition photographs include images of care being provided by the Dieticians Medical center. The 4-H photographs include images of auto care courses, "Negro short courses", and displays involving livestock, home economics, and "dress revues". There are also various images of State Club Week activities and state fair prize-winners.

Also in this file folder is a collection of pictures labeled "miscellaneous", with subject matter ranging from banquets and award ceremonies, to fishing, to footage of flood damage. The Home Economics and Home Management photographs include images of contest winners and furniture making. The Horticulture photographs include images of shrub growth, greenhouse shows, and a conference for retail florists. The Poultry photographs include images of chicken and turkey farms, as well as images of "Turkey Day" contests. The Rural Area Development photographs include images of presentations of "Overall Economic Development Plans" to various county representatives.
1963 - This section contains images from the Extension Services of various departments in the College of Agriculture including Administration, Agricultural Engineering, and Animal Husbandry. The Administration photographs include images of various administrators in the College of Agriculture including Dean Elmer Kiehl. There are also images of various banquets, conferences, and chicken barbecues hosted by the College's Extension Services. The Agricultural Engineering photographs include images of barns, storage silos, machine sheds, and fence construction, as well as images of various state and county fairs with displays dealing with agricultural facility issues. The Animal Husbandry photographs include images of prize-winners at the Missouri State Steer and Carcass Show, several livestock auctions and viewings, and experiments in animal production, such as testing floor type as a variable in pig size and output.

The Field Crops photographs include images of experimentation in defoliation prevention and fertilization refinement. The majority of the photographs in this folder are labeled "miscellaneous", however, there is a collection from the Poultry Department's Extension Services. The miscellaneous photographs include images of agricultural journalism, various award banquets and alumni lunches, and images of College of Agriculture buildings on the Columbia campus. The Poultry photographs include images of the Missouri Turkey Federation Board Members, an extension service-sponsored chicken barbecue, and several chicken farms throughout the state.
1964 - This section contains images from the Extension Services of various departments in the College of Agriculture including Administration, Agricultural Engineering, Animal Husbandry, Balanced Farming, Dairy Husbandry, and Field Crops. The Administration photographs include images of Northwest and Southwest Research Headquarters. The Agricultural Engineering photographs include images of storage facility construction, fence construction, lake excavation, flood control, and machinery storage shed construction. The Animal Husbandry photographs include images of Testing Station procedures, feed experimentation with pigs, sheep, and horses, and Carcass Show award winners. The Balanced Farming photographs include images of pleased families who have taken part in and/or been awarded by the Balanced Farming program, and their award-winning farms. The Dairy Husbandry photographs include reproductions of displays on bovine anatomy and images of the "Efficient Production Award". The Field Crops photographs include images of experimental soybean, cotton, corn, and sugar beet fields.

This folder also contains images from the 4-H Club chapter of Missouri. The Home Economics and Home Management photographs include images of the School of Home Economics for Barton and Dade counties, and images of the Missouri Home Economics Extension Club Council officers. The Horticulture photographs include images of the Microbiology and Food Testing Labs as well as images of the Fifth Annual Lawn and Turf Conference. The Poultry photographs include images of the Missouri Turkey Show and of poultry specialists visiting from India. The Soils photographs include images of the Delta Center Field Day. The "miscellaneous" photographs include images of various award winners, banquets, and conferences, in addition to images of visiting speakers and images of the Southeast Experimentation Station. The Animal Husbandry photographs include images from the Missouri Steer and Carcass Show as well as a variety of images of cattle and pigs from throughout the state.

Agricultural Engineering, 1970-72: These negatives and photographs include images of statewide farm facility and machinery construction designed and/or aided by the Department of Agricultural Engineering. In this collection are images of self feeders, grain storage silos, ice-free watering troughs, and the presentation of the Ford Powertrain Award to the Agricultural Engineering Department.
Agricultural Journalism, 1968-70: These negatives and photographs include images of officers and activities of the Agricultural Journalism Club and the Agricultural Journalism Career Day Display.
Agronomy, 1968-72: These negatives and photographs include images of the Bradford Farm Agronomy Field Day, the Missouri Farm Bureau Federation officers and meetings, pasture management and control experiments, and a corn blight meeting at Monroe City High School.
