Included are correspondence files, administrative reviews, United States Department of Agriculture information, copies of progress reports, and miscellaneous administrative files. Series Descriptions: Series 1. - C:25/1/4 (A89-59) This Series holds administrative correspondence files of the MU Agricultural Experiment Station (ca. 1888-1890). Most of this correspondence is from other agricultural experiment stations, agricultural colleges, and related institutions. Also included are promotional brochures sent by manufacturers of agricultural equipment and supplies. (1/6 c.f., UMLD1) Series 2. - C:25/1/NP (A95-104) This Series contains administrative files of the MU Agricultural Experiment Station (ca. 1978-1987). Included are administrative reviews of the Agricultural Experiment Stations' on-going research projects, information and data gathered for the United States Department of Agriculture, and miscellaneous administrative files. (4 c.f., 073923, 073924, 102316, 102317) Note to Researcher: This Series is currently unprocessed. Until completely processed and inventoried, portions may not be fully available to researchers. Series 3. - C:25/1/5 (A15-21) This Series contains records produced by the Agricultural Experiment Station, (ca. 1986-1988). The records consist of copies of Progess Reports filed by the Station on behalf of its staff. The reports include summaries of research and lists of publications. The copies were sent to Ellis Library in response to a request by the Library's director for lists of faculty publications from the various schools and colleges across the University of Missouri. (1/3 c.f., UMLD1) Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files.
