The hospital was known as the Ellis Fischel State Cancer Hospital from the 1940's until ownership of the hospital was transferred to the University of Missouri in 1990. Included in this Sub-Group are meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, financial reports, Cancer Commission By-laws, grievance procedures, departmental activity reports, the newsletter Proceedings, staff articles written for other publications, symposium and conference files, Tumor Board quarterly reports, and black-and-white prints and negatives of photographs used in Marketing and Public Relations Office publications.
