Scope and Content Note
This Record Sub-Group contains administrative and committee records created by various units within Columbia Regional Hospital. The committee records consist of meeting minutes, meeting agendas, and supplementary meeting materials.
Historical Note:
Columbia Regional Hospital was purchased by the University of Missouri on 1 October 1999. The hospital was previously owned by the California-based Tenet Healthcare Corporation.

Series 1. - C:23/18/1 (A04-98)
This Series contains committee records related to Columbia Regional Hospital, (1993-2001). The records consist of meeting minutes, meeting agendas, and supplementary meeting materials. The committees represented in this Series are: Medical Staff, (1993-1999); Credentials Committee, (1998-1999); and Medical Executive Committee, (1999-2001).

This Series contains records created and received by the Geriatric Psychology Unit of Columbia Regional Hospital, (1992-2005). The records consist of and pertain to policy manuals, staff meeting minutes, nursing orientation, Medicare prospective payment system exclusions, Medicare requirements admission criteria, State of Missouri hospital surveys, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and step increase guidelines. The Series also holds one event scrapbook containing staff and patient photographs [RESTRICTED].

Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files.
