This publication includes listings of accessions, descriptions of specific facilities, explanations of policies, and announcements. There are also articles concerning the UMC Libraries and their services, circulation concerns, personnel matters, the classification system, microfilming, listings of doctoral dissertations, and growth of the MU Library system. Note to Researcher: This newsletter replaced a monthly publication of accessions. In 1983, the title of the above publication changed to UMC Library Newsletters and, later still, to Library News Notes. Contact Ellis Library for issues published later than 1965. Web blog issues of Library News Notes are available online beginning with the first issue of 2008. University Archives maintains electronic copies of News Notes beginning with the October 12th Issue of 2001 and ending with the November 30th issue of 2007.
