Scope and Content Note

This Record Sub-Group contains faculty papers and records created in the College of Veterinary Medicine's Department of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. The records consist of publications, teaching or working files, committee records, and printed and duplicated material.

Series Descriptions:

Series 1. - C:17/8/2 (A11-78)
This Series contains records created by Professor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery Clarence J. Bierschwal, Jr. (ca. 1972-1982). The records consist of publications and illustrations related to Bierschwal's specialty of fetotomy. Included in this Series are an edition and a reprint of The Technique of Fetotomy in Large Animals written by Bierschwal and C. H. W. de Bois, and numerous original drawings and reproductions of fetotomy techniques that were not used in the publication. The Series also contains instructional audio-visual material (16mm film and U-matic tape) of fetotomy techniques.

The records consist of correspondence, memoranda, reports, meeting minutes, and meeting agendas related to Faculty Council, to MU's Computer Advisory Committee, and to the University of Missouri President's Advisory Committee on Computing, (1993).

This Series contains records created and received by Professor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery Arthur A. Case, (1956-1992). The records consist of the following types and topics: committee meeting minutes and notes, reports, the Environmental Health Surveillance Center, conferences, and various University memoranda. The majority of this Series, however, consists of printed and duplicated material pertaining to the University of Missouri, including newsletters and conference brochures and proceedings.
