This Sub-Group contains magnetic tape recordings of lectures presented by Professor of Regional and Community Affairs C. David Anderson. Included in the Sub-Group is a biographical note of Anderson's career from August 1966 until his death in May 1978. The collection of reel-to-reel audiotapes of lectures given by C. David Anderson concern such topics as justice, censorship, reason, law and ethics and were given from September 1975 to December 1976.

Biographical Note:

C. David Anderson's career at the University of Missouri-Columbia began with his appointment as Assistant Professor of Regional and Community Affairs in September 1966. In February 1967 Anderson's title was changed to Instructor of Regional and Community Affairs. Following his title change, Anderson was reappointed as Instructor of Regional and Community Affairs from May, 1967 through August, 1972. In September 1972, Anderson's title was changed from Instructor to Assistant Professor of Regional and Community Affairs. In September 1976, after serving four years as Assistant Professor, Anderson was promoted to Professor of Regional and Community Affairs. Following two years as Professor of Regional and Community Affairs, C. David Anderson died on 20 May, 1978.

Due to the classroom setting of these recordings and interaction with students, portions of the recordings may have restricted access. Additional information can be found with the paper finding aid.
