Series Descriptions: Series 1. - C:15/3/1 (A78-35; A79-17; A86-153; A97-76) This Series includes records concerning faculty members employed by the UMC School of Nursing from 1950 through 1982. Included in the Series are official notices of appointments, recommendations, disciplinary actions, funding records, personnel information forms, photographs and correspondence files. (2 c.f., 015728, 015729; 1/3 c.f., UMLD1) Series 2. - C:15/3/2 (A02-15) This Series contains School of Nursing faculty records, (1991-1996). Included in the Series are adjunct and joint faculty files. (1 c.f., 018868) Note to Researchers: Series 2 is currently unprocessed. Until completely processed and inventoried, portions may not be available to the public. Series 3. - C:15/3/4 (A08-65) This Series contains terminated faculty records from the School of Nursing, (1991-2007). The files [RESTRICTED] contain evaluations, correspondence, promotion and tenure records, and disciplinary and grievance material. (2 c.f., 056607, 056608) Note to Researcher: Series 3 contains records which are confidential and restricted. See the restrictions note at the end of this finding aid. Restrictions Note: The Archives of the University of Missouri-Columbia is required by law and Board of Curator's policy to restrict access to some files and information. Student records are held as confidential under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and by University policy. Faculty promotion and tenure records and Academic Personnel files are restricted for 75 years, or the lifetime of the individual. All grievance, disciplinary, and medical records are treated as confidential files.
