This Record Sub-Group contains general office files of School of Journalism Dean Frank Mott (1942-1951) with some materials from the administrations of previous and succeeding Deans, Frank Martin (1936-1941) and Earl English (1951-1970). Topics covered in this Sub-Group include American Association of Schools and Departments of Journalism, foreign student programs, the F.L. Martin Memorial Library, the photography program, "Picture of the Year" exhibits, student placement, KFRU and college radio stations, Sigma Delta Chi, and the Herrick Scholarship. Also included in the Sub-Group are files dealing with workshops, coursework and classes offered in the School of Journalism. The Sub-Group also includes queries from various researchers, organizations, and other interested persons. The Record Sub-Group consists of newspaper clippings, publications, correspondence, meeting minutes and reports.
