Scope and Content Note
This Sub-Group holds printed and duplicated materials generated by the University of Missouri-Columbia Graduate School and Office of Research. Included in this Sub-Group are copies of the Graduate Faculty Senate Handbook, research papers and abstracts printed in the MU Annual Research and Creative Activities Forum, Illumination, Summary of Grant and Contract Activity,and Graduate School Catalogs and Bulletins, among others.
Series Descriptions:
Series 1 - C:10/00/1
This Series holds copies of the Graduate Faculty Senate Handbook published from 1977 through 1994. These volumes contain listings of Graduate Faculty Senate (GFS) membership, officers, standing committees, as well as by-laws and procedures. The Series also includes a copy of the GFS newsletter (12/1990) and minutes from an April 16, 1991 meeting of the Graduate Faculty Senate.

Series 2 - C:10/00/2 (A95-123)
This Series holds copies of the UMC Graduate School Annual Research and Creative Activities Forum for the years 1984 through 1989 . This publication includes research papers and abstracts presented to the annual forum by graduate student researchers. The Series also includes a brochure listing presenters for the 14th annual Forum in 1997.

This Series holds copies of the UMC Graduate School catalogs and information bulletins printed from 1901 to the present. Included in these publications are Graduate School entrance requirements, degree program requirements, class schedules, lists of degrees conferred, and lists of UMC Graduate School faculty and administrative officers.

This Series holds printed and duplicated materials regarding the MU Research Reactor (MURR). Titles include: MURR: Fighting Cancer with Tomorrow's Technology (2000-2002), MURR Indoctrination Program (1989, 1994), MURR Perfecting the Art and Science of Nuclear Medicine (n.d.), and the newsletter MURR Research (2001).The Series also includes informational brochures about MURR and the Archaeometry Laboratory, programs from the Conference on Trace Substances in Environmental Health (1982-1990), MURR's dedication (5/28/1966) and twentieth anniversary celebration (10/11/1986), publications from the Radiation Safety Committee (1975-1988), and a program and invitation for the MURR Office/Laboratory Addition and Cyclotron opening ceremony, (2007).

This Series holds issues of publications produced by the MU Graduate School. Materials include newsletters, circulars, and topical guides. Titles include: Graduate School Report (2000), Center for Research in Social Behavior: Annual Report (1966-1967) and Technical Reports (1972-1973), Guidelines for Preparing Theses and Dissertations (n.d.), Graduate Recruitment Handbook (n.d.), Graduate Newsletter (1972-1976), Praxis (1989-2002), Columnae (a newsletter for alumni of the Graduate School, 2006), Graduate Student Newsletter (1981-1985), Graduate Student Affairs Newsletter (1979-1980), and one issue of an unidentified newsletter from 1977. The Series also includes brochures and other materials related to Graduate School programs, fellowships, and events, as well as the Graduate Institute of Cooperative Research, the Committee on Medieval and Renaissance Studies, and the Center for Research in Social Behavior.
