This Record Sub-Group consists of blueprints, specification books, and a daybook, created or collected by the University of Missouri-Columbia Campus Facilities Department. A great majority of this Sub-Group consists of renovation and original construction blueprints for various buildings on the University of Missouri-Columbia (UMC) campus.

Inventory
Series 1. - Miscellaneous
This Series contains blueprints of a variety of campus facilities. Blueprints for the Metal Environmental Poultry Building (1962) include reinforcing steel details and bolt setting plans. Blueprints for the Poultry Building (1947, 1952) include remodeling details and Poultry Farm - Grid Survey utilities and elevations. Blueprints for the Hatchery (1945) include elevations section details and heating and wiring schematics. Drawings of the Plumbing Shop include details of all three floors. Also in this series are maps of the underground water, gas, and sewer grid of the campus (1895, 1931), a floor plan for the Implement Laboratory (1905), Utility Maps (1921), and tunnel ventilation plans (1944). In addition, this series contains plans for the Engineering Lab Building (1947), Memorial Tower (1967), McHaney Hall (1999), Medical Science Building (1999-2000), University Hospitals (1995-1998), Veterinary Science Complex (1974), Veterinary Medicine East (1959), Greenhouses (1998), Whitten Hall (1996), and Townsend Hall (1998).
Series 2. - Stock Judging Pavilion
This Series contains blueprints, schematics, and floor plans for the Stock Judging Pavilion. Within are general floor plans, preliminary sketches, and general details of the pavilion (1901), as well as elevations, power schematics, block plans, full size drawing of the building's sign, details of the water table, gables, and seats of the pavilion, (1913). This series also contains structural shop drawings for the pavilion including steelwork details, truss details, and erection diagrams (1913) as well as several elevations and structural plans for the Implement Laboratory, (1905).
Series 3 - Boiler House
This Series contains blueprints, floor plans, and elevations for the construction of a Boiler House (1892, 1902), as well as addition plans to a Boiler House on the Horticultural Grounds, (1902).
Series 4. - Home Economics Department - Gwynn Hall
This Series contains all-level floor plans, exterior and interior details, elevations, alterations, stair and entrances plans, heating plans, fire place and chimney plans, and blueprints and plans of all phases of the construction of Gwynn Hall (1920-1936). Also included are plans for the creation of a Gwynn Hall Lounge, (1978-1979)
Series 5. - Student Health Center and Noyes Hall
This Series contains plans and blueprints for the Noyes Hospital Building, and the Student Health Center, as well as additions, repairs, and alterations to these buildings. Within are floor plans, elevations, heating and electrical plans, and interior details for the construction of the Noyes Hospital Building, (1922). The Plumbing Shop drawings include plans of each floor, (1922). Blueprints and plans detail additions and alterations to the Noyes Hall solarium, electrical substations and plumbing (1935, 1944, 1951), as well as interior alteration details, (1951). This Series also contains floor plans, heating plans, electric plans, exterior lighting fixture diagrams, and layouts of the driveway and walkway at the Student Health Center (1935-1936).
Note to Archivist: A few of the blueprints of Noyes Hospital have been digitized and are located in 704, 6, 1.
Series 6. - Veterinary Building and Connaway Hall
This Series contains floor plans and elevations for the construction of Connaway Hall, the Veterinary Building. There are eight items, (1910-1911).
Series 7. - Chemistry Building and Pickard Hall
This Series contains floor plans and ventilation plans for the construction of Pickard Hall, the Chemistry Building. There are four items, (1895).
Series 8. - Army Training Camp and Forestry School Buildings
This Series contains plans for the removal and reconversion of Army Training Camp Buildings #12 and #14 into temporary classrooms (1947) and plans for construction of Forestry School buildings and faculty apartments in Wappapello, Missouri, (1947). It contains floor plans and elevations detailing the heating, plumbing, footing and electrical wiring of buildings #12 and #14. Also included are plans detailing the removal and reconversion of Army Training Camp facilities into Forestry School facilities, including offices, classrooms, and faculty apartments. In addition, this folder contains plans for a proposed lagoon block plan and electricity redistribution plan.
Series 9. - Agricultural Chemistry - Schweitzer Hall and Agricultural Engineering - Waters Hall
This Series contains plans and elevations for the construction and additions to both Schweitzer Hall (Agricultural Chemistry) and Waters Hall (Agricultural Engineering). Included are blueprints, floor plans, elevations, section details and heating and lighting plans for the Agricultural Chemistry Building, (1912), laboratory layouts (1923), air conditioning plans (1958), lecture hall plans (1905), block, basement, and floor plans (1907-1908), lighting and heating plans (1908), and entrance-way and sub-station additions and alterations, (1944).
Series 10. - Sewer Plan and Faculty Housing Renovations
This Series contains Sanitary Sewer Plans and Faculty Housing constructions and renovations. Included are Sanitary Sewer Site 1 plans and various Profile Drawings, utility block plans, drainage layouts, elevations, and floor plans for Faculty Housing, (1946).
Series 11. - Daybook and Specifications Manuals
This Series contains specification manuals concerning original constructions and alterations for Lowery Hall (1904), Neff Hall (1919), and McAlester Hall (1922). This Series also contains the utility daybook of Norman Ashlock for various White Campus utility line installation projects from the 1930s-1940s.

This Series contains architects drawings and blueprints for the construction of the Education Building (Practice School), prepared on 04/27/1935.
Series 13. - Plans for Arts and Science Registration (A76-6)
This Series contains blueprints and plans for the Arts and Science Registration in the General Library 03/02/1938.
Series 14. - Conley, Maryland and University Avenue Parking Structures
This Series contains full blueprints for the construction and landscaping of the parking structures located on University Avenue 1986-1987), Maryland Avenue (1994), and Conley Avenue (1986-1987).
Series 15. - Library Storage Facility and Resource Recovery Center Incinerator Installation
This Series contains blueprints and plans for the construction of the Library Storage Facility 1996) and installation of an incinerator at the Resource Recovery Center (ca 1990).
Series 16. - Donald W. Reynolds Alumni Center
This Series contains blueprints for the construction of the Donald W. Reynolds Alumni Center. The Series contains one hundred and twenty-nine blueprints detailing all aspects of the construction of the center, and prepared from 1990-1992.
Series 17. - Museum Support Center
This Series contains blueprints for the construction of the Museum Support Center (1993).
Series 18. - Stankowski Field
This Series contains blueprints for the improvements to Stankowski Field. The Series contains blueprints prepared in 1996, detailing all phases of the additions, renovations, and alteration to the field.
Series 19. - A. L. Gustin Golf Course Clubhouse
This Series contains blueprints for the improvements, renovations, and additions to the golf course club house including construction of additional golf cart storage, floor plans, and elevations (1960-1997)
Series 20. - Cramer Hall, Defoe Hall, and Smith Hall Telecommunications Renovations (A00-167)
This Series contains blueprints for the telecommunications and electrical renovations of Cramer, Defoe, and Smith Halls, prepared on 03/16/2000. It consists of blueprints prepared by the firm of Mitzel and Scroggs, of Columbia, Missouri, and represents project #001082.
Series 21. - Engineering Building East (A01-116)
This Series contains blueprints for electrical vault renovations for the Engineering Building East, prepared 12/15/2000 by Planning Design and Construction of Campus Facilities. This series consists of blueprints including: the site location plan; the electrical demolition, renovation, and schedules; and the electrical power diagrams. Project number is 001331.
Series 22. - Dobbs Residence Group (Jones, Lathrop, and Laws Halls; Dobbs Dining Hall), Bingham Residence Group (Hatch and Schurz Halls; Bingham Dining Hall), and Blair Residence Hall (A01-116)
This Series contains blueprints for transformer replacement for the following buildings: Dobbs Residence Group (Jones, Lathrop, and Laws Halls; Dobbs Dining Hall), Bingham Residence Group (Hatch and Schurz Halls; Bingham Dining Hall), and Blair Residence Hall. The blueprints were prepared 10/25/1990 by Planning Design and Construction of Campus Facilities. This series consists of 12 sheets of blueprints. Sheet one contains a site location plan. Sheets two-four contain a site plan, cable pulling schedule, mechanical room layout, new equipment layout, electrical riser layout, and new switch layout for the Bingham Group residence halls. Sheets five-eleven contain a site plan, cable pulling schedule, mechanical room layouts, transformer vault typical areaway layout, transformer vault new areaway layout, and electrical riser layouts for the Dobbs Group and Blair resident halls. Project number is 095431.
Series 23. - Hospital and Clinics (A01-116)
This Series contains blueprints for steam line replacement for the Hospital and Clinics, prepared 11/02/2000 by Rogers-Schmidt Engineering Company. This series consists of fourteen sheets of blueprints. Sheet one contains location and site maps; sheets two-three contain a site plan and site work details; sheet four contains utility tunnel reinforcing details; sheet five contains manhole no. 360 reinforcing details; sheet six contains tunnel drop reinforcing details; sheets seven-nine contain manhole piping layouts; sheet 10 contains pipe support and anchor details; sheet 11 contains a thermal expansion plan; and sheets 12-14 contain electrical plans, details, and diagrams. Project number is 001741.
Series 24. - Black Culture Center (A01-116)
This Series contains the original set of blueprints for the Black Culture Center (the building to replace the former Black Culture Center at 823 Virginia Avenue), prepared 01/14/1997 by Watson Groves and Associates. This series consists of 50 sheets of blueprints. Sheets C1-C10 contain civil plans, profiles, and details; sheets A1-A16 contain architectural plans, schedules, details, and patterns; sheets S1-S6 contain structural plans, details, and sections; sheets M1-M8 contain mechanical notes, plans, details, diagram, and schedules; sheets P1-P2 contain plumbing plans, legend, details, and diagrams; and sheets E1-E8 contain electrical legends, schedules, plans, diagrams, panels, and details.
