Scope and Content Note

This Record Sub-Group contains eighty-three slides, five 8 X 10 photographs and one booklet containing twelve photographic prints and a campus map produced by the John Epple Construction Company. The collection was donated by University of Missouri Alumnus, Robert C. Epple, who graduated from the University in 1951. The company, named after Robert's father, was later renamed Epple Construction Company. The images were created during various campus construction projects contracted by the company. These projects include post World War II temporary housing, construction of the University Medical Center and additions to Memorial Stadium, Memorial Union and the Engineering Building.

Biographical Note:

Robert C. Epple, of Columbia, Missouri, graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1951 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Mr. Epple also attended the University's Laboratory School.
