Scope and Content Note

(A84-53)
The two photograph albums which make up this Record Sub-Group contain dozens of images of student activities at the University of Missouri Columbia campus in the early years of the 20th century. These photographs were largely taken by Volney McFadden and his classmate, Arnot Finley, when they were students at the University. Many of the photographs were made into postcards for sale to other students. Picture topics cover most aspects of academic and extra-curricular student lifeof that era.

Note to Researcher: Many of the photographs in this Sub-Group are postcards. Some photographs and photographic postcards are so firmly attached to pages that removal was considered impractical.

Series Descriptions:

This Sub-Group is not divided into separate record series. Arrangement in the Sub-Group follows the original page order created by the compiler of the photo albums.
