Tingle Collection Dates: 1920-1989, bulk 1971-1989 Volume: 1 cubic foot, 1.25 linear feet Scope and Content Note (A92-7) This Record Sub-Group contains University of Missouri-Columbia memorabilia relating to athletic, student organization, alumni, and other activities from the estate of Wentworth Corydon (William or Bill) Tingle. Concerning athletics, this Sub-Group contains football game programs, a football history, sports review books, booster club certificates, mounted football photographs, football posters, and other football fan memorabilia. Concerning student organizations, this Sub-Group contains awards, certificates, and photographs generated from Tingle's association with Kappa Alpha Order as both a student and alumni as well as photographs and certificates from a Barber Shop Quartet Singing Society. Concerning alumni functions, this Sub-Group contains various awards and certificates commending Tingle for his lifetime involvement with UMC. Lastly, the Sub-Group contains general university memorabilia such as mugs, a tapestry, photographs, posters, and figurines related to MU.
